SCAFFOLDING CHARGEHAND Full-time

NMDC Group is hiring a Scaffolding Chargehand for its Energy BU in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role leads scaffolding teams erecting, modifying and dismantling tube-and-coupler and system scaffolds across offshore platforms, fabrication yards and onshore EPC sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise scaffolders in erection, modification and dismantling activities to approved drawings and standards.
• Ensure scaffold inspections, tagging (Scafftag) and load classifications are correctly recorded.
• Brief crews on work-at-height risks, fall-arrest requirements and exclusion zones.
• Coordinate with construction trades, riggers and Scaffolding Supervisor on access requirements.
• Enforce PPE, permit-to-work and HSE compliance across all scaffolding operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of scaffolding experience in oil & gas, marine or heavy industrial construction.
• Valid CISRS, OSHA or equivalent scaffolder certification.
• Able to read scaffold drawings and apply load and stability calculations.
• Good spoken English and willing to mobilise offshore as required.
