Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is actively hiring motivated & experienced Sales Manager Government to lead their team of sales individuals. Candidates aspiring for this role must be preferably Arabic speaker. Duties of A Sales Manager Government
- Assist in the efficient running of department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
- Act as a sales specialist and be responsible to assist government revenue is maximised in the most profitable way in line with the agreed targets.
- Responsible for planning, soliciting, booking and building and leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue.
- Direct all Sales operations (Government Sectors) for the hotel to maximize revenue opportunities for all segments & channels.
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections & written communication.
- Establish and grow market share by developing and maintaining relationships with all Government sectors.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of all the services a hotel provides so as to conduct successful sales
- To maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contract and quotes for the hotel as per hotel Policies and Procedures.
- Perform any other sales related duties.
Requirements for Role of Sales Manager
- Degree or diploma sales, marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in leisure segment or in a similar role in luxury international brand hotel within UAE.
- Experience in the GCC market.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Understanding of selling techniques and leisure market segment in the UAE and GCC.
- Arabic language is a plus.
- Ideally already based in UAE.
- Well versed with market within the UAE and GCC market.
