Sales Manager Abbott Laboratories UAE

The position of New Therapy Sales Manager is required to cover MEA/EM in order to focus on new technologies (AVEIR, JotDx,…). The role holder is responsible for market development plan for new therapies and Leadless support. This is a remote position offered by the company, in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

Responsibilities of Sales Manager

• Understand the dynamics of the market, the healthcare and economic environment to identify opportunities to grow Abbotts market share for new technology portfolio.
• Develop and document strategic objectives for area of accountability and translate into operating plans to grow new technology PF sales and profit in line with agreed targets.
• Role model Abbott values and ensures all in-country activities maintain a positive customer perception of the Abbott new technology PF.
• Identify, assess and appoint new distributors and develop new markets for new technology PF.
• To interact with physicians, hospital education staff and Field staff to support questions related to Abbotts’ CRM New technology portfolio.
• To conduct training sessions related to Abbotts’ CRM new technology portfolio and its clinical use.
• Builds and maintains relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) to encourage their continuous input on new therapies/technologies, emerging technologies and patient requirements.
• To work with, support and interact with all Country manager within the region.

Qualifications & Experience

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of New Therapy Sales Manager – MEA and EM at Abbott Laboratories:

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience within Medical Devices preferably in Cardiac Rhythm Management in the MEA region.
• 5 years of experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Working knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures and practices. Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Has a general knowledge of technical alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the systems environment.
