Job Description

First Abu Dhabi Bank is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Sales Executive Merchant Acquiring. The role holder is responsible to grow payit’s Merchant payments business by acquiring new merchants and achieving annual Volume & Revenue targets from assigned portfolio of merchants. The person is expected to have good relationship with the portfolio merchants to maximize the revenue potential & business opportunities.

Responsibilities of Sales Executive Merchant Acquiring

  • To plan, manage and grow assigned portfolio of all Payit Merchants.
  • Relationship management for assigned Payit Merchant Accounts and end to end ownership of each and every relationship.
  • Promote and present to merchants and other entities in UAE the Payit Digital Wallet product to acquire new business partners.
  • Maintain merchant relationships to ensure continual growth and sales targets.
  • Leverage prospect and contract new merchants and partners by presenting the appropriate payit solution for the business.
  • Generate, maintain and increase business opportunities with existing merchants.
  • Liaise both internally and externally in training the merchant staff on the payit products.
  • Ensure to abide by the compliance programs that monitors obligations towards external parties including & not limited to Regulatory / Card scheme / PCI DSS rules & regulations
  • User Acquisition – Work with merchants, strategic partners to acquire new payit users.
  • Proactively manage sales against variances and/or competitor activity and work on strategies for retention and referrals to increase payit’s revenue.
  • Achieve volume and revenue target from assigned portfolio with the appraisal cycle.
  • Achieve monthly setup acquisition targets for merchant acquiring.
  • Actively cross sell payit solutions to existing payit merchants to drive volume growth
  • Become the SPOC for the clients in portfolio and manage the end to end relationship with the clients in portfolio

Role Requirements

The requirements of Sales Executive Merchant Acquiring are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in the fintech sector or start-ups with at least 2 years in similar positions of progressively increasing responsibilities in the business development function.
