At Emaar, Role in Agronomy Operations will be entrusted with implementing the daily maintenance and agronomic program of the golf and landscape maintenance department to provide the highest possible standard of playing surfaces, in order to deliver outstanding golf experiences.

Responsibilities for Role in Agronomy Operations

• Records and monitors daily activities and data and communicates with the golf course manager.
• Trains the team while implementing the agreed Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure to follow stringent Health & Safety practices.
• Genuine eye for detail and guest service culture.
• Flexible time management.
• Ability to read data and make strategic decisions on the go.
• Providing exceptional playing surfaces and landscape in line with the SOP.
• Guest NPS and Mystery Shopper platforms.
• Managing Day to Day operations and assigning resources accordingly.
• Seamless Communication across all levels of the business unit.
• Provide constructive feedback (on and off-the-job).
• Overall Asset Management.

Requirements for Role in Agronomy Operations

• A High School Diploma is required/Technical Certificate or Qualification in Sports Turf or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a golf course maintenance department
• Pesticide applicators license or similar will be a plus.
• Experience of working at a high-end agronomic golf facility.
• Positive Guest experience.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Excellent communication skills inc. use of Microsoft office programs.
• Supervises, organizes and demonstrates good planning skills.
• Member of an industry organization such as GCSAA or BIGGA will be a plus.
• Flexible mindset to the needs of the role.
