Risk Manager – HSR Full-time

Guildhall is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team for a large-scale high-speed rail infrastructure project in the UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the project
• Identify, assess, and monitor project risks across all disciplines, including technical, commercial, financial, and operational areas
• Liaise with JV partners, contractors, and consultants to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place
• Conduct risk workshops, prepare risk registers, and update risk dashboards for senior management
• Support decision-making by analyzing risk impacts on schedule, cost, and project objectives
• Provide guidance on claims, contractual risks, and potential dispute mitigation
• Ensure integration of risk management with project controls, planning, and execution processes
• Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in risk management or project controls for large infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in joint venture (JV) project environments
• Strong understanding of construction, civil, and rail project risks
• Experience in the UAE or GCC region preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in high-speed rail, metro, or large transportation infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, claims management, and project governance
• Proficient in risk management and project controls tools
• Ability to work effectively in multinational, complex project environments
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and proactive risk mitigation capabilities
