NMDC Group is hiring a Rigging Foreman for its Energy BU in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role plans and supervises rigging activities for offshore and onshore EPC projects, leading multiple rigging crews and chargehands across complex lifting, slinging and load handling operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily rigging operations, including critical, tandem and heavy lifts.
- Review lift plans, JSAs and risk assessments before execution; brief crews accordingly.
- Inspect and approve rigging gear, slings, shackles and lifting equipment in line with LEEA standards.
- Coordinate with Crane Operators, Lifting Supervisors and HSE on safe lift execution.
- Maintain lifting records, gear inspection registers and ensure compliance with NMDC and client HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 10–12 years of rigging experience in oil & gas, marine or heavy industrial construction.
- Valid third-party rigger / lifting supervisor certification (OPITO/LEEA preferred).
- Able to read lifting plans, isometrics and project drawings.
- Good spoken and written English and willing to mobilise offshore as required.
