Resident Engineer (Roads & Bridges) Full-time

Parsons is looking for a talented Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the Construction Supervision of Roads and Infrastructure Project.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage the scope of engineering work, schedules, change management and closeout for the assigned project elements, and monitor progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with Authorities and Agencies for approvals and handing over of Project/services.
• Interface with Contractor and subcontracts to facilitate compliance to the Contract and deliverables.
• Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable.
• Reviews and approves change orders.
• Manage the Client’s expectation and update the progress periodically.
• Liaise with Authorities to ensure smooth execution and handing over of the Project.
• Ensure that Parsons rights and obligations are fulfilled.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
• Minimum 15 years post graduate experience in supervision and construction management of major roads, bridges and infrastructure projects preferably within the GCC region.
• Good communication skills both written and spoken.
• Good technical knowledge and well versed with the standards and codes.
• Good computer skills and software proficiency in related field.
• Knowledge in construction health, safety and environment.
