Radiology Technician Modern Pharmaceutical LLC Sharjah

The Radiology Technician at Modern Pharmaceutical LLC in Sharjah, UAE will be responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes. Candidate will be responsible for following physician’s orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment. Candidate will use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs and vessels, and may assist in administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals. This is an Entry level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 6000-12000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of Radiology Technician

• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging.
• Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
• Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences and monitoring the video display to adjust the density of contrast.
• Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the physician, and updating patients’ records.
• Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients’ comfort.

Requirements for Role of Radiology Technician

• An associate or bachelor’s degree holder in Radiography or radiologic technology
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Radiographer.
