Guildhall is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong knowledge of MEP systems. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and design teams to review drawings and specifications.
- Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments for MEP works.
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reports.
- Assist in contract administration, claims preparation, and change order evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QS in construction projects, with hands-on exposure to MEP systems.
- Strong knowledge of estimating, costing, and tendering processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Primavera, or relevant QS software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with local construction codes and standards.
