  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire doors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, identifying any deficiencies that need addressing.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of quality control processes, providing detailed reports to management.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure that fire doors are installed correctly, adhering to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Perform routine maintenance assessments and recommend repairs or replacements for non-compliant fire doors.
  • Stay updated on the latest fire safety standards and regulations to ensure all quality control practices align with current best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on proper handling and maintenance of fire doors, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols tailored specifically for fire door products to enhance overall safety and performance.

Desired Candidate Profile of Quality Control Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in interpreting building codes and fire safety regulations, with a strong understanding of NFPA standards.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications related to fire doors and their installations.
  • Fluency in English is require.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times.
  • A proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
