Job Description
NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a QC Technician in Dubai.
Job Description
- Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards.
- Document and report quality issues and discrepancies, facilitating effective communication with production teams to drive corrective actions.
- Participate in audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal quality protocols.
- Develop and update Quality Control procedures and guidelines to continuously enhance testing methodologies and improve efficiency.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and best practices to cultivate a culture of quality across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, helping to inform management decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the QC department remains competitive and compliant.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing or laboratory setting, demonstrating practical knowledge.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are highly desirable to showcase expertise in quality management.
- Proficient in using statistical analysis software and quality control tools, including control charts and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions to improve quality processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing demands.
- Detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
- Physical ability to perform inspections and testing tasks, including the capacity to lift equipment and materials when necessary.
