Job Description
Austin Center is currently seeking qualified candidates for the job opening of Psychologist (Senior & Junior) in Sharjah and Dubai, UAE. The vacancy was recently published on the institute’s website. The applicants should be flexible to work with different nationalities and should be willing to make follow-up calls and home therapy tips as needed.
Role of Psychologist
This role person’s responsibilities include performing assessments, providing necessary support for teachers, family members, and other healthcare professionals, setting therapy goals, delivering therapy and monitoring therapy progress, and ensuring patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques.
Responsibilities of Psychologist
- Conduct psychometric assessments and tests.
- Develop an IEP in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team members.
- Deliver therapy using applied behavior analysis to the clients assigned to them.
- Maintain detailed case notes and reports according to the practice protocols and professional standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings or case review meetings with other health care professionals involved in the client’s treatment as required.
- Monitor the client’s treatment progress and modify the goals and activities as required.
- Provide detailed treatment reports to schools and insurance providers.
- Contribute to administrative functions related to treatment documentation, policy making, procedural planning, etc.
- Provide the support requested by the management in the psychologist job recruitment process.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology / Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
- Minimum 1 year experience for junior Psychologists.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience for senior Psychologists.
- DHA License/ Eligibility letter (NOT MANDATORY).
- Should have good communication and report writing skills.
