Project Manager – Renewables (Solar PV) Full-time

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager – Renewables to lead the execution of large-scale Solar PV projects in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring completion within time, budget, quality, and safety parameters. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex EPC project environments.

Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Lead full lifecycle execution of utility-scale Solar PV projects
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and commissioning activities

Planning & Resource Management

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Ensure optimal manpower deployment and utilization

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Ensure effective communication and expectation management

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
• Oversee QA/QC processes and technical compliance

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress, KPIs, and risks
• Report updates and mitigation strategies to senior management

Site Management & Reviews

• Lead site inspections, project reviews, and HSE audits
• Attend client meetings and execution reviews

Subcontractor & Claims Management

• Oversee subcontractor work plans and performance
• Develop and implement claims management strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in renewable energy project management
• Proven experience in Solar PV projects (100 MW+ preferred)
• Experience in EPC or IPP environments
• Strong leadership and contract management skills
• Proficiency in Primavera or MS Project
• Knowledge of HSE and QA/QC standards
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
• Willingness to work on site/remote project locations
