Guildhall is seeking a seasoned Project Manager on behalf of our esteemed client to oversee the execution of high-rise tower projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Project Manager will be responsible for detailed project planning, monitoring progress, managing project scope and change control, and providing regular status reports to senior management. A strong understanding of construction processes, advanced skills in MS Projects and Primavera, and UAE experience with high-rise residential and commercial towers are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, at least 10 years of industry experience, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and working knowledge of AutoCAD are preferred.
Responsibilities
– Oversee day-to-day functioning of projects from inception through to completion.
– Manage and lead the project team.
– Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other parties involved in the project.
– Develop detailed project plans and control mechanisms.
– Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.
– Record and manage project issues, escalating when necessary.
– Control project scope and change management, escalating issues as required.
– Monitor project progress and performance.
– Provide status reports to senior management.
– Review drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
– Review contract conditions and manage the tendering process.
Experience / Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with expertise in both interiors and civil works.
– Proven UAE experience in managing high-rise residential and commercial towers.
– Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts.
– Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the construction process.
– Advanced skills in MS Projects and Primavera.
– Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
– Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
