Al Futtaim Group is currently recruiting for the position of a Project Manager (MEP) for its division Al Futtaim Engineering & Technology in Dubai, UAE. Job Purpose of Project Manager

Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Project Engineering & Execution activities, typically operates on one or multiple projects and is responsible for all activities (internal and external) in line with the Projects goals and work plan.

Responsibilities of Project Manager

• Delivering the project on time, within the budget and acceptable quality to all stakeholders.
• Liaise with all stake holders (Main Contractors, Consultants, Client and internal departments) to ensure project deliverables are catered during the engineering, execution and close out of the project.
• Coordinating with Planning Engineer, Trade Engineers, and Supervisors in monitoring daily productivity, comparing with plans and taking corrective actions for loss of productivity.
• Manage the installation and construction work from time to time and ensure efficient standards of workmanship..
• Liaise with local authorities as per requirements.
• Checking the respective trade project cost with allotted budget, reporting higher management / commercial / estimation department cost trends in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with QS to capture all variation works.
• Notify the delays so that effective claims are made to increase project budget margins.
• Develop and apply internal engineering and construction standards.
• Apply operating procedures, specifications and templates so that project delivery, engineering and construction are conducted in a consistent manner.
• Ensuring that all company and sub contract personnel are complying with AFE HSE Policy.

Who Can Apply?

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical.

Experience 

• 10 to 15 years of experience out of which 10 years must be in MEP Project Company especially in Gulf.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Possess sound knowledge in engineering design, DEWA / FEWA / ADDC regulations.
• Possess knowledge in project planning, project management, cost management and FIDIC contract clauses.
• Possess knowledge of project development or project management software i.e Pro Design Amtech, DIALux, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project,  Primavera.
• Written Contractual Communication.
