Project Finance System & Governance Specialist

The SAP Project Systems (PS) Specialist supports Project Finance operations by owning, governing, and optimizing SAP PS processes and project financial data flows. This role acts as the key interface between Project Finance, PMO, Commercial Finance, IT, and operational teams, ensuring strong system integrity, financial traceability, and scalable project execution across complex defense and international programs. The role combines SAP PS expertise with strong project finance and accounting knowledge, supporting the shift from manual controls to system-driven governance, automation, and reporting. Key focus areas include WBS governance, project structure standardization, invoicing readiness, revenue recognition alignment, and integration across SAP and related systems (MSP, CRM, procurement, and billing).

Key Responsibilities

• Own and govern SAP Project Systems (PS) financial structures across projects and portfolios
• Ensure WBS integrity, accurate project setup, and alignment between commercial, operational, and financial structures
• Support end-to-end project financial flows across SAP, MSP, CRM, procurement, billing, and reporting systems
• Manage project creation, modifications, settlements, and financial master data governance
• Drive automation and system enhancement initiatives within Project Finance
• Transition processes from manual trackers to SAP-based reporting and governance
• Ensure alignment with IFRS and revenue recognition requirements
• Support invoicing readiness and financial milestone tracking
• Monitor data consistency between operational execution and financial reporting
• Support audits and ensure compliance with financial controls
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on system improvements, UAT, and testing
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards for improved project visibility and forecasting
• Perform root-cause analysis for system and process issues impacting projects
• Contribute to standardization of Project Finance governance across entities
