About the Role

Noya British School on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher to join the school for the academic year 2026/2027. Additionally, this full-time teaching position involves planning, preparing, and presenting sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class. Furthermore, the successful candidate will create a positive and engaging learning environment while embedding the Noya British School Teacher and Learner DNA throughout the curriculum. Key Responsibilities for Primary Teacher at Noya British School Abu Dhabi

As a Primary Teacher, you will organise classroom provision, learning resources, and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment. Moreover, you will observe and assess children in line with school assessments and be reflective of classroom provision to adjust planning accordingly. In addition, you will take responsibility for the progress of your class while being a positive role model demonstrating the attitudes and values expected of pupils. Furthermore, you will work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, and resources. You will also communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ achievements and wellbeing, and support school events and activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teaching qualification. Additionally, a minimum of one to two years of teaching experience is required. Moreover, candidates should have previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language. Furthermore, recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities, a positive and solution-focused attitude, and a clean DBS check are essential for this role.
