Primary ICT Teacher – (Temporary contract) Dubai Contract

This role delivers hands-on, project-based ICT lessons to Grade 3 and 4 students in a vibrant Dubai school, building digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking through interactive learning. You will plan engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback while promoting wellbeing and online safety. The position operates within Bloom Education’s network of 22,000+ students, where your temporary contract until end of AY 2025/2026 offers an immediate start in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons to Grade 3 and 4 students in line with curriculum standards (American or British frameworks).
• Develop students’ digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills through hands-on, project-based learning activities.
• Plan and prepare lessons, assess and monitor student progress, then provide constructive feedback to support individual growth.
• Inspire, challenge, and support students to develop a strong foundation in ICT while promoting their wellbeing and safety online.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and development across the primary phase.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to curriculum innovation and enhancement within the ICT department.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behavior, using data to inform teaching strategies.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment with appropriate use of technology and resources.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience as an ICT teacher in a primary school setting.
• Experience with American or British curriculum frameworks is highly desirable.
• A passion for technology and the ability to inspire young learners to become confident, responsible users of ICT.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Collaborative, flexible, and innovative approach to teaching with willingness to adapt to a temporary contract.
• Clean police clearance certificate from home country or country of residence.
