This role controls delivery, allocation, and replenishment activities to ensure the right products are available in the right quantities at the right place and time across the region. You will analyze sales trends, gross margin, and inventory, partnering with Buying and Store teams to maximise retail profits through effective trading of ranges. Consequently, you will plan collection clearances, end‑of‑season markdowns, and promotional offers (Gift with Purchase, Multi‑Buy) while tracking customer profiles to make sound product decisions that meet expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Be accountable for the right products and stock to be available in the right quantities at the right place at the right time. Therefore, optimise stock holding across the region.
- Plan collection clearances and end‑of‑season markdowns to achieve sell‑through in line with business margin expectations.
- Assist with overall markdown plans for the department, including promotions such as Gift with Purchase, Multi‑Buy Offers, and re‑pricing of product lines.
- Review and monitor logistics costs per country, flagging any adverse impacts on margins to senior leadership.
- Monitor warehouse service levels and work with Logistics to track shipments and ensure timely delivery of stock transfers.
- Contribute to and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
- Track and understand customer profiles, trends, and preferences, therefore making sound product and stock decisions that meet customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong inter‑departmental and intra‑departmental relationships for open sharing of information and effective follow‑up actions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a related field, preferably Business or Finance.
- 2–4 years of experience in a Planner role within a fashion retail environment (mandatory).
- Experience in OTB (Open‑to‑Buy) management and inventory optimisation.
- Excellent to fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales trends, gross margin, and stock data.
- Knowledge of markdown planning, promotions, and logistics cost monitoring.
- Proficiency in retail planning systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Ability to work collaboratively with Buying, Store, and Logistics teams.
