Physics Teacher – August 2026 Dubai – United Arab Emirates Full-time

This role delivers Physics to KS4 and KS5 students in a High‑Performance Learning ‘World Class School’, therefore preparing learners for GCSE and A Level success while equipping them to be ‘World Class and World Ready’. You will bring creativity, fun, and evidence‑based pedagogy to lessons, building positive relationships and adapting learning to meet the needs of all students. Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics across KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and A Level), therefore ensuring students achieve excellent outcomes in line with the school’s track record of high performance.
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that reflect the school’s Teaching DNA – building positive relationships, adapting to all learners, and using strong, evidence‑based pedagogy.
• Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform planning, interventions, and feedback that moves learning forward.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share outstanding practice, participate in peer observations, and contribute to a reflective, growth‑minded culture.
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of physical laws, experimental methods, and problem‑solving skills, linking Physics to real‑world applications and emerging technologies.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive, inclusive school culture aligned with WSO’s core values of Unity, Aspiration, and Integrity.
• Contribute to the wider school community through active engagement in the extra‑curricular programme, school events, and community‑based initiatives.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related subject, plus PGCE/PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification (B.Ed also accepted).
• Proven experience teaching Physics at KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and A Level or equivalent), with a track record of outstanding learning and teaching outcomes.
• Willingness to collaborate, share best practice, and embrace a reflective, solution‑focused growth mindset.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students, and parents.
