About the Role

As a Phase Level Lead at Mamoura British Academy, you will lead the phase team in contributing to the vision and strategic direction of the school. Furthermore, you will drive initiatives that secure continuous school improvement while creating innovative approaches that raise standards across the phase. Moreover, this leadership position involves leading the MER process for quality assurance of teaching and learning, line managing Heads of Year, and driving the professional development of staff through coaching, team teaching, and sharing best practice.

Key Responsibilities for Phase Level Lead at Mamoura British Academy Abu Dhabi

• Lead the phase team ensuring alignment with the School Development Plan and Key Drivers
• Establish and communicate a clear, ambitious vision for the phase promoting innovative learning
• Lead the MER process ensuring rigorous quality assurance of teaching, learning, and standards
• Line manage and support Heads of Year with clear direction and accountability
• Lead data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify patterns and plan interventions
• Ensure pastoral care and wellbeing systems are effectively implemented across the phase
• Drive professional development through high-impact PD sessions, coaching, and best practice sharing
• Support the retention and enrolment strategy with focus on Foundation Stage provision

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Bachelor of Arts with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the English National Curriculum
• Leadership experience is desirable with proven experience leading a team
• Experience driving school change and raising standards
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
• Confident and inspirational leader who sets high expectations
• Reflective and strategic thinker committed to continuous improvement
