Duties as Pharmacist

• Has oversight of pharmacy technicians as well as supports the pharmacy operations manager.
• Ensures the maintenance of efficient pharmacy operations, customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Reviews, interprets, clarifies, enters, and verifies patients’ information and medication orders for processing within all hospital and pharmacy computer systems.
• Advises prescribers of medication related issues and recommends alternate medications.
• Provides general and patient specific drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other Health care professionals.
• Helps monitor pharmaceutical and other established indicators to ensure ongoing quality assurance.
• Strictly observes organization’s medical regulations and policies especially those related to infection control, patient safety, patient assessment and patient care.
• Ensure compliance to all laws, circulars and regulations related to the pharmacy profession.

Position Requirements

Following are the prerequisites for the role of Pharmacist at Novomed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• No less than 2 years of experience in healthcare setting in the UAE.
• Sales experience is an advantage.
• DHA License holder.
