Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding female PE Teacher to join its established physical education department starting in August 2026. This full time role is based on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi and is open to qualified teachers who have strong experience with the UK national curriculum. If you are passionate about inspiring young women to lead active, healthy lives and achieve success in sport, this position offers a rewarding platform. You will teach PE across secondary year groups, following the English National Curriculum through IGCSE and A Levels. The school looks for a forward thinking educator who will also participate fully in extra curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities for PE Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for female students across secondary year groups. Inspire students of all ages and abilities to develop physical skills, teamwork, and a love for sport.
• Follow the English National Curriculum for PE, preparing students for IGCSE and A Level examinations where applicable. Use plentiful classroom and sports facilities resources to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Set high expectations for achievement and help every student reach their potential
• Organise and lead extra curricular sports activities, teams, and competitions for female students. Encourage participation in local and regional events.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and sporting achievements. Work closely with colleagues in the PE department and across the school.
• Encourage a culture of inspiration, enjoyment, and success in physical education. Finally, participate fully in the wider life of the school community including events, assemblies, and residential trips.

Qualifications

You need a recognized teaching qualification and strong experience with the UK national curriculum. Further experience in international education is an added advantage. The school looks for an excellent communicator who works well with students, parents, and colleagues. You should have a positive mindset, a strong focus on being the best teacher you can be, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to a fast paced international environment. Keen collaboration skills and the ability to build strong working relationships are essential.
