Job Description
NMC Healthcare presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Patient Admin Executive at NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi, AE. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 5000-10000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Patient Admin Executive
- Greets patients or their families and finds out the nature of their enquiry.
- Provides information to assist patients or refer them to appropriate contact, either in the organization or elsewhere.
- Advocate Patients’ and their families’ rights and responsibilities, confidentiality, information and education.
- Develops and maintains the feedback/complaint procedure for customers to use and receive redressal.
- Communicates all information to Floor Supervisor on daily basis.
- Expedites flow of visitors/patients and ensure that each person receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment, timely & prompt assistance, optimizing waiting time. Provide adequate information as & when required.
- Provides Information about medical insurance coverage to patients and check the same diligently before sending the patient to the doctor.
- Investigates patient/visitor concerns and implements appropriate courses of action.
- To ensure appropriate Billing of Service rendered by patient through HIS.
- Keeps accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
- Perform duties of handling Patient /Telephone/Cash/back office work as specified in the duty roaster.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein as and when assigned by the higher authorities.
- Provide communication support-assist colleagues, including clinicians and nurses in communicating with patients who have language barriers preventing smooth flow of information, in clinic setting or otherwise, as applicable.
Requirements for Role of Patient Admin Executive
- Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree in any discipline.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist in a patient-focused environment, along with the operation of a multi-line switchboard system, is a plus.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in working in a hospital-related environment. Proficiency in technology applications, including basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, and Internet Explorer, is essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, maturity, good judgment, and the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse range of individuals are crucial. Superior phone etiquette is required.
- The candidate should be patient-focused, service-oriented, and demonstrate understanding. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are key.
- Reliability, punctuality, dependability, and responsiveness are expected.
- An excellent command of both oral and written English is essential. While proficiency in Arabic is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
