Parts Advisor Dubai, United Arab Emirates Full-time

This role provides professional support to customers by accurately identifying their parts requirements and guiding them toward cost‑benefit purchasing decisions, therefore enhancing customer retention and facilitating parts sales. You will receive and greet customers, understand their needs, and use parts catalogues to identify the correct components based on vehicle type and usage. Consequently, your ability to promote related parts, prepare quotations, and convert pending inquiries into confirmed sales directly drives profitability and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and greet customers, discussing and understanding their parts requirements, then guiding them on the best options available to assist in well‑informed purchasing decisions.
• Create additional sales opportunities by promoting related parts to the customer, therefore increasing average transaction value.
• Identify the correct parts required from parts catalogues by assessing the type of vehicle and its specific use.
• Prepare quotations for parts required by customers. If stock is unavailable at the branch, check availability in other branches or incoming shipments, or initiate a procurement request.
• Establish healthy and profitable relationships by proactively communicating and following up with existing and prospective customers on parts requirements, therefore converting pending quotations into confirmed sales.
• Issue parts for all confirmed sales orders and generate invoices upon confirmation of payment.
• In case of parts unavailability, register lost sales in the system. Depending on the seriousness of the enquiry, raise requests to the purchase department for local purchase or VOR (Vehicle Off Road) orders.
• Promote the sale of accessories to all customers, therefore increasing sales and profitability of the business. Ensure all necessary documentation to minimise errors and that parts are delivered to customers on time.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a graduate degree, preferably in Science.
• 1–3 years of experience in the automotive trade, specifically in parts sales or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogues accurately, identifying components based on vehicle make, model, and usage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build healthy, profitable customer relationships.
• Proactive follow‑up skills to convert quotations and lost sales into confirmed orders.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and their compatibility with different vehicle types.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems for quotation generation, invoicing, and lost sales registration.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
