Outstanding EYFS FS teacher – August 2026 Dubai – United Arab Emirates Full-time

This role shapes the earliest years of learning for children aged 3–5 in a BSO and KHDA ‘Outstanding’ British international school, therefore building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development through joyful, play‑based pedagogy. You will create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is respected, valued, and given every opportunity to succeed. Consequently, your passion for early years education and commitment to the National Curriculum for England will directly foster happy, resilient learners in one of Dubai’s most vibrant school communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons across the EYFS curriculum, therefore ensuring all children make excellent progress in prime and specific areas of learning.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and positive relationships, in line with the school’s ‘Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve’ mission.
• Use formative and summative assessment to track student progress, then adapt teaching to meet individual needs, including those with EAL or emerging needs.
• Foster a love of learning through structured play, exploration, and cross‑curricular connections, embedding the school’s values of respect, happiness, and achievement.
• Build strong, trusting partnerships with parents and carers through regular communication, workshops, and collaborative goal‑setting, ensuring families are active partners in the learning journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the EYFS and Primary phases to develop curriculum resources, share best practice, and participate in continuous professional development, including coaching conversations and accredited NPQ pathways.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and wellbeing, using positive management strategies that support self‑regulation, kindness, and mutual respect.
• Contribute to the school’s vibrant extra‑curricular programme, school events, and community initiatives that celebrate learning and build firm friendships across the team.

Requirements And Qualifications

• High‑quality degree in FS/Primary Teaching (must be MOFA attested).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification (must be MOFA attested).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the National Curriculum for England, either in the UK or UAE.
• Proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning, with the ability to create a caring, nurturing environment for young learners.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, early literacy and numeracy development, and age‑appropriate assessment practices.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a fast‑paced, international, multicultural environment, with confidence and resilience.
• Clean police and safeguarding background checks, including UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent.
