Key Responsibilities for Optometrist LOCUM at Fakeeh University Hospital Dubai
- Conduct external ocular examinations for ophthalmology patients
- Perform vision assessments and take visual acuity measurements
- Provide technical support for ophthalmology services at Fakeeh University Hospital
- Support physicians during diagnostic tests and ophthalmology procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of examinations
- Participate in public health awareness initiatives related to eye care
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals in patient care
- Contribute to training programs as required by the department
- Ensure optimal clinical care and safety standards for all patients
Requirements
- Graduation in Optometry or equivalent Bachelor’s in a medical specialty
- Minimum 3 years of experience after certification in optometry
- Proficiency in external ocular examination techniques
- Experience in vision assessment and visual acuity testing
- Valid DHA license or eligibility for optometry practice
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
