Operations Efficiency Insights Manager Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways is presently hiring for the job role of Operations Efficiency Insights Manager in Abu Dhabi. This role holder will be responsible to independently identify operational challenges, derive data driven solutions & communicate actionable insights to support the Global Airports & Network Operations division. Also, create comprehensive PowerBI reports for recurring reporting & (automated) operational decision making. The job holder is expected to swiftly understand various operational topics and to subsequently run adhoc analysis using the OpsBI platform or independently sourced datasets. Focus areas for analysis include on time performance, mishandled baggage or customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of Operations Efficiency Insights Manager

• Drive ad-hoc analysis & root cause analysis to derive actionable insights for the Global Airports & Network Operations division.
• Accountable to identify, communicate, & support implementation of operational improvement opportunities.
• Summarize & visualize analysis results and, if required, operationalize analysis in PowerBI.
• Drive opportunities for analysis / report automation & develop automated decision-making support tools to be used by a wide range of users.
• Organize & host working / steering groups to drive initiatives.
• Support the development & expansion of Etihad’s operational data resources & OpsBI platform.
• Mentor & lead Operations Efficiency Insights Analyst.

Requirements for Role of An Operations Efficiency Insights Manager

The eligibility requirement for role of Operations Efficiency Insights Manager are as under:

• Educated to degree level (min Bachelor) in aviation management, business administration, economics, mathematics, statistics or similar field.
• 3-5 years professional experience in quantitative role, e.g. analytics or performance management.
• Experience in managing a small team.
• Preferably experience in aviation industry, particularly operations.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
• Advanced skills in MS PowerBI (or similar).
• Basic knowledge in SQL.
