Job Purpose of An Officer Executive Communications
- Drafting of executive speaking materials and managing communications output for internal and external engagements.
- Research & drafting of briefing documents, talking points and speeches for executives & senior leadership.
- Activate engagements for executive leadership, develop content for multiple media, digital and social, paid media and internal communication channels.
- Gain a deep knowledge of business via frequent meetings with business communications team, business vertical leads & commercial teams across global and regional functions.
- Regularly collect proof points and data that can be utilised across written content for executive leadership.
Your Job Duties As An Officer Executive Communications (Temporary) At Dubai Ports (DP) World (UAE)
- Copy writing & communications execution.
- Writing talking points and speeches for global c-suite executives and review other materials for other leadership as required.
- Manag the logistics and content capture for executive speaking engagements, working closely with executives teams and third parties.
- Research and identify proactive speaking opportunities to pursue for c-suite, based on their business remits & communications strategies.
- Conduct evaluations of speaking engagements for c-suite, working with retained communications agency to research and assess the calibre of an engagement and the opportunities for communications amplification.
- Being the main point of contact with organizers and third parties to fully understand the calibre of an engagement and negotiate with organizers to enhance and shape opportunities that best serve leadership and strategy.
- Support with the development of executive positioning strategies for global c-suite.
- Support with developing materials to train c-suite executive and senior leadership.
Qualification & Experience
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or any related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in speech writing and communications.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong inter personal skills and ability to work across departments and teams.
- A strong written and oral communicator with a passion for story telling.
- Must have an integrated mindset to communications and story telling and understand how content can be amplified across earned.
- Ability to analyze data and measure communications performance.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of the industry.
