Responsibilities of A Nurse Manager

• Responsible for the implementation and delivery of age appropriate patient care congruent with the mission, vision and values of the Organization.
• Responsible for ensuring nursing staff adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct and Scope of Practice of the regulatory body.
• Manages clinical and operational activities and ensure the provision of optimum clinical care, customer satisfaction and patient safety.
• Leads the Nurses Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall service delivery.
• Understands, supports and promotes the mission, vision and values of Organization.
• Provides age appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the regulatory body.
• Adheres to and promotes the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi.
• Promotion of health and delivery of health education.
• Ensuring the provision of optimum clinical care, customer satisfaction and patient safety.

Requirements for Role of Nurse Manager OPD Surgical

Qualification

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or Degree in nursing (minimum 2 years course duration).
• Registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
• Valid/current national license.
• BLS provider.
• Desired: Master’s in nursing or related clinical specialty or healthcare administration.

Experience

• NLT 10 years clinical experience in appropriate & relevant healthcare settings post qualification.
• NLT 2 year of experience in Senior Charge Nurse position or NLT 3 years in a Charge Nurse Position.
