Join a high-performing IB Mathematics team for the 2026–27 academic year. Furthermore, GEMS World Academy Dubai is hiring an MYP Mathematics Maternity Cover Teacher from November 2026 to support Middle Years Programme students through a defined cover period. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging MYP Mathematics lessons aligned to the IB framework.
• Additionally, build mastery of core concepts across Grades 6 to 10.
• Use formative assessment data to personalise learning and stretch every student.
• Furthermore, foster mathematical curiosity through enquiry-based teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with the department on curriculum mapping, moderation, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience for the MYP Mathematics Teacher

• Bachelor of Education, or a relevant degree with a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent Mathematics qualification.
• Additionally, at least three years of Secondary or High School Mathematics teaching experience.
• Working knowledge of the IB MYP and DP frameworks (preferred, not required).
• Furthermore, a track record of raising attainment and engaging reluctant learners.
• Strong collaboration and classroom-communication skills.
• Availability to start November 2026.
