Abu Dhabi Ports is presently looking for sound and professional candidates for position of a Motorman to join their Marine Service Unit. Job Purpose of A Motorman

• Carry out all mechanical maintenance activities on vessels equipment / Marine Workshop.
• Adheres to Safe working SOPs.

Your Duties As A Motorman

• Adheres to near miss and incident reporting.
• Repairs Marine units faulty equipment.
• Carry out regular checks in all mechanical equipment making sure that maintenance plan is good.
• Update maintenance works with master and line manager when it is required.
• Comply with IHSE MS needs.
• Performs any other maintenance related activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years hands on experience on board the vessel or Marine.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Knowledge in Internal Combustion Engine, Various type of Auxiliary equipment like pumps, Air compressors & steering system.
• Knowledge in Hydraulic /Pneumatic system, Refrigeration and AC system operation and maintenance.
