GEMS Dubai American Academy is looking to hire suitably skilled and devoted candidate for role of Middle School Mathematics Teacher to join their dedicated team for August 2024. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for teaching MS Math. This job was announced by the academy on 8 January 2024. Responsibilities of Middle School Mathematics

Deliver engaging and interactive Math to Middle School students, following the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for science and foster critical thinking skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Provide support to All MS Math classes as needed, ensuring continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
Participate in parent teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Job Requirements of Middle School Mathematics

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
A certified professional teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent specializing in Mathematics.
Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
Proven experience teaching Maths at the middle school level.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

Strong knowledge of inquiry based learning and hands on Math education.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
Skilled teacher with a solid commitment to teaching and learning and strong subject knowledge in the relevant area.
