Dubai College is seeking a highly organised administrator to fill a unique dual role combining Middle School Administration at 0.6 full time equivalent and Music Administration Coordination at 0.4 full time equivalent. This full time position provides administrative, pastoral, and logistical support to both the Middle School leadership team and the Music Department. You will help ensure the smooth day to day operation of two busy departments. Key Responsibilities for Middle School and Music Administrator Dubai, United Arab Emirates

• For the Middle School portion of the role, provide administrative support to the Middle School leadership team. Assist with pastoral records, student attendance, and communication with parents. Help organise events, trips, and parent meetings.
• For the Music Department portion, coordinate music administration including lesson scheduling, instrument inventory, and concert logistics. Support the Head of Music with examination entries, communication with peripatetic staff, and parent updates.
• Manage competing priorities across both departments within a standard working week. Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Liaise with students, parents, teachers, and external examiners as needed. Prepare documents, letters, and reports for both the Middle School and Music Department.
• Support the smooth running of daily activities, including cover arrangements, room bookings, and resource management. Finally, contribute to a positive and efficient school environment.

Qualifications

You need a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor degree or administrative certification is an advantage. Previous experience in a school administration role is highly desirable, particularly supporting multiple departments. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Experience with music administration or knowledge of peripatetic lesson scheduling is a plus. A calm, flexible, and proactive attitude is required.
