Merchandiser Azadea Group Dubai

The Fashion Merchandiser at Azadea Group will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability through effective stock management and analysis and manage open to buy (OTB) and balance to achieve (BTA) for both offline and online stores. Responsibilities of Merchandiser

• Maintain strong relationships with principle brand team and shops, while sharing decision making processes when managing the stock and sales.
• Produce layout plans for stores, sometimes called ‘statements’ / space planning while assisting visual merchandisers with commercial decisions when displaying product and POS.
• Select collections/product in accordance with the market trends/culture/
• Analyzes the market segment at which the store product is aimed along with the correct mark up in prices and margins, while maintaining awareness of competitors’ performance and customers reactions.
• Manage product flows throughout the season and oversees the buying process.
• Participate in product, trend and collaboration pushes on social media, while supporting the marketing department with product analysis and proposals for campaigns.
• Manage weekly sales, stock and intake and predict challenges and opportunities.
• Communicate with buyers’ seasonal trends to agree on the seasonal launch plan, product selection and sizing distribution, while analyzing and predicting current and future consumer buying patterns.
• Distribute and manage the stock level based on forecasted season sales and product flow including commercial calendar planning, control stock availability and assist the Brand Manager in setting the price strategy of the brand according to comparative reports.
• Complete regular sales reporting in close coordination with the shops to identify margin opportunities and risks.
• Monitor product flow by detecting slow sellers, best sellers and ensuring proper allocation/relocation.

Requirements for Role of Merchandiser

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in fashion retail merchandising; experience in purchasing is a plus.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Comprehensive understanding of product cycle.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office high emphasis on Excel.
