NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified candidate for position of a MEP Engineer in Modular at Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, AE. Candidate will design and integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for modular buildings. You will ensure efficient, functional, and compliant MEP systems, collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver high-quality modular solutions. This is an Intermediate level full time role. Responsibilities of MEP Engineer

• Design & Development:
• Design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems for modular buildings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and functional requirements.
• System Integration & Coordination:
• Coordinate MEP systems within modular units, collaborating with BIM teams and ensuring smooth integration with other building systems.
• Project Support & Communication:
• Provide technical guidance, support project teams, and ensure MEP systems are installed and commissioned on schedule and within budget.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure systems meet building codes, sustainability standards (e.g., LEED), and perform quality checks on-site.
• Troubleshooting & Sustainability:
• Resolve technical issues, optimize energy efficiency, and suggest improvements for sustainable MEP solutions.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare technical drawings and reports, track system progress, and report any delays or issues.

Requirements for Role of MEP Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s or certifications in MEP/sustainability a plus).
• 3–5 years experience in MEP engineering, with modular or prefabricated construction.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Proficient in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and knowledge of building codes, energy modelling, and sustainable practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with attention to detail.
