Job Description
AstraZeneca is seeking a dedicated Medical Representative Respiratory inDubai Science Park Complex 1, Al Barsha, Al Barsha South, Dubai, UAE. This opportunity was announced by the company on December 16, 2023 with the job ID R-187468. The position is primarily responsible for positively influencing customers’ prescribing behaviour to achieve sales targets, develop territory and build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products in a given territory in compliance with AZ CO. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-12000 AED/month.
Duties as Medical Representative Respiratory
- Engage primary care healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in the territory.
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the market, demographic, and managed market’s information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
- Ensure excellent medical knowledge and promotional skills related to his/her disease area and product.
Role Requirements
Following are the essential requirements for the role of Medical Representative Respiratory at AstraZeneca:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science.
- 2 year experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in Qatar.
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the commercial pharmaceutical marketplace.
- Proven Project Management skills.
- Outstanding selling skills.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Planning and organization skills.
- Impactful presentation skills.
- Fluency in English
