The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform a wide range of diagnostic laboratory tests essential for patient diagnosis, treatment, and disease monitoring. Key Responsibilities for Medical Laboratory Technologist at Prime Hospital

• Perform clinical laboratory tests in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and immunology departments
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, tissue, and other biological specimens
• Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment and automated analyzers
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through quality control procedures
• Document and report laboratory findings in compliance with DHA regulatory standards
• Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff regarding specimen requirements and test results
• Maintain laboratory safety protocols including proper handling of hazardous materials
• Participate in proficiency testing and laboratory accreditation activities
• Support inventory management for laboratory supplies and reagents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Science
• Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensing as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in operating automated analyzers and laboratory information systems
• Strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
