About the Role
The Maternity Coordinator at Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital is responsible for coordinating patient maternity care, prenatal education, and available hospital services before, during, and after the birthing experience. Furthermore, this role involves delivering quality support services to antenatal and postpartum women in collaboration with the multi-professional team. Moreover, the successful candidate will facilitate positive patient and family experiences throughout the maternity journey. In addition, the position includes recruitment of potential patients for the Daman High Risk Maternity program.
Key Responsibilities for Maternity Coordinator at Mediclinic Middle East Al Ain
- Coordinate patient maternity care and prenatal education programs effectively
- Deliver quality support services to antenatal and postpartum women according to clinical standards
- Manage available hospital services before, during, and after the birthing experience
- Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing clinical risks
- Facilitate positive patient and family experiences throughout the maternity journey
- Support recruitment of potential patients for the Daman High Risk Maternity program
- Coordinate with obstetric physicians to ensure comprehensive maternity care delivery
- Develop and implement patient education materials for expectant mothers
- Monitor compliance with clinical risk policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement in maternity care services
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery is essential
- At least 2 years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse within an acute care facility
- Maternity qualification and experience is highly desired
- Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
