Responsibilities of A Material Inspector

• Reviewing materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report findings.
• Checking that materials delivered to site are properly stored and report discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with quality standards by inspecting materials for construction projects, verifying specifications and adherence to regulations, ensuring structural integrity and safety

Requirements for Role of A Material Inspector

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrated 7 years experience in similar projects with a technical background in engineering.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the conduct of quality inspections with hands on experience of ISO9000 quality systems.
• Solid experience in maintaining relevant records and generating activity reports.
• Experience in identifying non-conforming materials, generating reports and corrective actions and coordinating responses.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and under changing environments.
• Ability to multi task, prioritize, plan and achieve project tasks.
• Ability to work with contractors at site and any other necessary parties.
