Marketing Executive Al Masaood UAE

Al Masaood presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of Marketing Executive in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible to effectively partner with Al Masaood Commercial Vehicles and Equipment Division, manage all marketing activities including handling Events, Promotions, Social Media, Advertising, communications; working with the Principal, Business heads and reporting to Group Marketing Head.

Responsibilities of Marketing Executive

Communication & PR:

  •  Implements local adaptation on communication provided by principal marketing teams.
  • Contributes to supplier selection and drive communication with sub-contractors according to Group Marcom procedures.
  • Roll out advertising and promotional actions.
  • Supports principal communication actions towards customers.
  • Grant brand communication charts and communication rules also at Importer level.
  • Relay the communication & promotion actions defined in the principal marketing plans and ensure local promotion.
  • Pilots budgets for media opportunities.
  • Manage internal communication.
  • Contributes to the Group’s monthly Marcom Report.

Web/Digital and Social Media:

  •  Manages the division’s website content and SEO.
  • Coordinates the activities linked to the web.
  • Social Media implementation on LinkedIn and other channels.
  • Plans and executes digital campaigns and lead generation tracking.
  • Defines and controls the division’s Marketing Shared Folder.
  • Ensures monthly collection of local Marcom activities.
  • Secures event archives (actions, check lists, feedback, budget and follow up).

New Product Launches & Handover Ceremonies:

  • Participates in conducting and managing successful local new product launches.
  • Participates in Event company selection.
  • Contributes to the events contents, concepts and set-ups.
  • Drives and implements strategy and action plans with Event company.
  • Pilots regular follow ups with Event Company and Venue. Ensure consistency and acts as both a challenger and support towards Event Company.
  • Act as main contact with Event Company.
  • Secures planning follow up.
  • During the event days, acts as a Site Manager.
  • Participates in the Media Planning.
  • Organizes regular truck handover ceremonies.

Exhibitions & Roadshows:

  • Participates in the organization of local exhibitions and events such as Abu Dhabi EcoWaste and Automechanika Dubai, etc.
  • Negotiates quotations with service providers such as stand builders and contractors.

Requirements for Role of Marketing Executive

  • University degree in marketing, communications or equal.
  • 1-2 years experience in Marketing communications in automotive.
  • Prior experience working in an international environment with an understanding of other cultures.
  • Has a UAE driving license and owns a vehicle.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Good knowledge and understanding of automotive & truck brands and industry practices.
  • Understanding of importer needs and customer requirements (automotive).
  • Computer skills and technical knowledge.
  • Goal oriented and communicative.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English. Arabic language is a plus.
  • Well organized and structured.
  • Positive attitude and proactive by nature.
  • Knowledge in relevant web tools is an advantage.
  • Team player with a genuine interest in other cultures.
