Job Puprose of Senior Manager Clinical Applications

• Manage and support clinical Information Technology (IT) applications across MH.
• Oversee activities of the applications life cycle such as configuration, updates, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure that applications are fully ready and meet the users requirements towards achieving the organization objectives.

Job Duties of A Senior Manager (Clinical Applications / IT) At Mubadala Health Abu Dhabi (UAE)

• Develops division’s strategic & operational goals and monitor progress towards their achievement.
• Prepares the division’s yearly budget and control costs to ensure adherence to the budget.
• Ensures people, financial and technological resources within the division are utilized effectively.
• Develops, reviews and ensures the implementation of the division’s policy and procedures in line with best practices.
• Keeps up to date with the latest developments in the wider health care arena.
• Drives meetings & ensure professionalism  is maintained at all times as per the organization’s standard code of conduct.
• In depth experience in Electronic medical systems and associated work flow of Tier 1 EMR’s such as EPIC or Cerner.
• Act as an SME to resolve arising technical issues in EMR build issues.
• Hands on experience in API’s & integration.
• Strong knowledge on HL7 / Healthcare interoperability.
• Manages all phases of clinical applications and related systems’ life cycle including design, development, implementation, modification, planning, estimating, feasibility testing and evaluation to ensure the system meets business needs.
• Develops plans and monitors clinical applications implementation and performance, as well as installation of related software.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
• Master’s Degree in IT (desired).
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.

Experience

• 10 plus years of career experience with 7 plus years of management experience.
• Experience in an IT environment, application support, IT project life cycle or related fields.
