As a Maintenance Specialist at LAHAB, you will responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company to meet organizational strategy and goals.
Key Functional Responsibilities:
- Attend and troubleshoot in case of critical breakdowns in machineries and equipment’s and to supervise the operators handling the conventional machines at tool room & Fabrication workshop
- Monitor and control the usage of inventories/spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
- Perform other tasks and duties as allocated by a department Manager or Superior.
- Ensure and adhere to safe work practices and procedures including, but not limited to, lockout/tag out and confined space rules and regulations.
- Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Read, understand and able to explain various engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, diagrams of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Maintain QMS ISO, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures and reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.
- Managing a team, evaluating employees’ progress, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems.
Key HSE Responsibilities:
- Provide OSH information, training and supervision.
- Assist with the preparation of risk assessments.
- Ensure application of appropriate risk control measures.
- Reporting of OSH hazards and incidents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: 5–8 years in Mechanical Maintenance role, leading overhauls and working in Repair, maintaining the equipment with high quality and safety.
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering on in a relavant field.
- Skills: Customer and Community Focused, Negotiation and Influence, Decison Making and Problem-Solving abilities;
- Communication: Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Preferred: 5+ years of industry-specific experience in Equipment Maintenance related to High Safety Environment (i.e. Power Plants and Machines)
