Logistics Officer BFL Group Dubai

Logistics Officer at BFL Group in TechnoPark, Dubai, UAE will be responsible for preparation export documents, such as invoices, bills of lading, TCN, Certificates of origin, Saber Certificates for KSA and obtaining require permit from controlling authority if needed. Ensure that all documentation complies with the regulations of the destination country (GCC & Southeast Asia). This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-12000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Logistics Officer

• Customs Compliance:
• Ensure that all export documentation meets customs regulations in both the exporting and importing Country.
• Ensuring record of export documentation booking and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain records of restricted items to each respective Country with in the GCC
• Coordination with Freight Forwarders:
• Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange booking and transportation of shipments.
• Ensure that all documentation is provided to the freight forwarder for smooth customs clearance.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of all export documentation.
• Ensure that documentation is filed properly for easy retrieval and audits department.
• Communication with Authorities:
• Act as the point of contact for service providers regarding export procedures.
• Communicate with government authorities, Customs and Dubai Chamber to ensure compliance with export regulations.
• Handle any issues or discrepancies in export documentation promptly.
• Stay updated on the latest industry practices and regulations.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor the status of export shipments and documentation.
• Prepare reports on export activities, including raising any issues on delays.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for improvement in the export documentation process.
• Implement changes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• These responsibilities ensure the smooth and compliant handling of export documentation, reducing the risk of delays or penalties.
• Maintain communications with suppliers, warehouses, freight forwarders, shipping lines and others involved in shipping and delivery of merchandise.
• Understand, plan and ship cargos in a way to avoid storage and Trucks detention.

Requirements for Role of Logistics Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply chain management, business or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of logistics experience or related field.

Skills And Knowledge Desire

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, as Word and PowerPoint and advance knowledge of Excel.
