Shipping industry is looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of their company. The job holder will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.

Responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator

The following are the duties for the job holder.

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. Truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements.

Requirements of Logistics Coordinator

• High school diploma in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
• Proven experience of 1-2 years in similar role.
• Experience in customer service.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
