Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist in UAE. MAF is an Emirati holding company based in Dubai, UAE. It owns & operates shopping malls, leisure establishments and retail in the MENA region. Job Purpose of A Learning & Development Specialist
- Responsible for supporting the Learning COE Director and contributing to learning projects.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders and OpCos (Operating Companies) to ensure effective communication and successful execution of learning initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis inform learning strategies.
Duties of A Learning & Development Specialist
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify innovative approaches, tools, and technologies for delivering effective learning solutions.
- Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes to the Learning COE Director and relevant stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Learning COE and OpCos, fostering strong relationships and effective communication channels.
- Collaborate with OpCos to understand their unique learning needs, challenges, and strategic objectives, and align them with the overall learning strategy.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
- Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in learning methodologies, tools, and processes, enhancing the overall effectiveness and impact of learning interventions
- Develop learning frameworks, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across learning interventions.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, including HR partners, senior leaders, and subject matter experts, to understand their learning requirements.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- A minimum of 6-9 years of professional experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a senior specialist or managerial role within a corporate or organizational setting.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing stakeholders, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
