This role delivers a rigorous American education to young women at AAG, a world-class Taaleem school designed to prepare the next generation of female leaders for local and global communities. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the American curriculum, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills in young women.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, using data and contemporary research to inform teaching practices.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and interventions to ensure high performance.
- Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that reflects Taaleem’s values of compassion, innovation, and excellence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices in an international school setting.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, maintaining high standards of professionalism in written and spoken English.
- Participate in professional development, school events, and extracurricular activities that contribute to the wider school community.
- Stay informed of current educational developments in the UAE, applying knowledge to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area, with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, teaching license, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a recognised school or international school environment.
- Outstanding classroom practitioner with proven successful teaching experience.
- Experience working in an international school setting preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary educational research and current educational developments in the UAE preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with high standards of professionalism in written and spoken English.
- Organised, deadline-driven, and able to engage and motivate students to perform highly.
- Clean police check (DBS or equivalent) as per Taaleem’s safeguarding requirements.
