Responsibilities of Junior Accountant
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Provide support during the month end and year end closing processes.
- Assist in special projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements of Junior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 yeas as a junior accountant.
