Job Description

IT industry is actively seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as an IT Support Specialist. This job opportunity was posted on Khaleej Times on 12 January 2023. The selected candidate will be responsible to contribute to seamless operation of their technology infrastructure and provide technical support to the employees. Responsibilities of IT Support Specialist

  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
  • Respond to IT support tickets and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Conduct regular system updates and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Educate end-users on IT policies and best practices.

Requirements of IT Support specialist

  • IT certifications (e.g. Comp TIA A+ , Microsoft Certified, Windows 10) are a plus.
  • 1-2 years Proven experience in same or similar role.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or mac OS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem solving & communication skills.
  • Customer focused with a service-oriented mindset.
